Richard Seibert has been involved with athletics and its interplay with
the healing arts for most of his life. As a member of 4 international U.S.
weightlifting teams he trained with and competed against athletes from all
over the world. Traveling to Greece and Hungary for the World Junior Championships,
he observed training techniques (once formerly known as "Russian training
secrets") that would later evolve into a methodology for treating the
most difficult low back conditions.

Later, as a resident at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs,
he was able to see and learn the most sophisticated techniques for treating
sports injuries in the United States.
In 1986, he completed his Doctorate of Chiropractic and opened his private
practice. Post-graduate certificates from the National Strength and Conditioning
Association (1989) and the ACA Sports Council (Certified Chiropractic
Sports Physician, 1995) were to follow.
In the summer of 2005, Dr. Seibert was selected as team physician of
the World University Cup Team for USA Weightlifting that competed in Villaneuve-Loubet,
France. The team was extremely successful, with the women's team winning
1st place and the men's team placing 2nd. Dr. Seibert continues to compete
at the Masters level and lectures on a variety of topics including sports
injury prevention, nutrition and rehabilitation.
